Yi Zhou is a undergraduate student at the Bartlett School of Architecture. Born in Beijing in 2006, Zhou is based in Vancouver and currently studies in London. Zhou’s work is interested in the crossroads of locality, materials, and experimentation in architecture/design.

Interview 2023
The project speculates on the erosional potential of rammed earth as a medium for performative and temporary architecture. The material is exposed as an record of weathering, capturing the process of the solid mass dissolving back into the landscape through gradual inscriptions.
